Send us the contract before you sign.
A solicitor reads it and calls you to explain what it says and what to watch for.

The agent has sent you a contract.
The agent acts for the seller, not for you.
Once contracts are exchanged, you are bound.
The time to protect yourself is now.
How it works
- Upload the contract on our Contract Check page.
- We read it.
- We call you, between 9am and 7pm, seven days a week, and explain what it says, what is missing, and what should change.
- If you want us to act for you, we take it from there.
What we check
- That the required documents are attached: title search, plan, drainage diagram, zoning certificate and cooling-off statement.
- The special conditions added by the seller.
- The deposit, the settlement date and the finance date.
- Easements and covenants on the title.
- For a unit, the strata records and levies.
- Whether a pool certificate is required and attached.
- Land tax on the property.
Common questions
When will you call?
We call between 9am and 7pm, seven days a week.
I have not found a property yet. Can I still talk to you?
Yes. Tick the box on the Contract Check page that says you do not have a contract yet, and we will call you.
Is the contract binding when I sign it?
It is binding when contracts are exchanged. For most residential purchases you then have a 5 business day cooling-off period, unless you bought at auction or gave a 66W certificate.
